Hey, this is Mark, writer of I Watch Stuff. I was just commenting because I saw your comment link and realized you're who illustrated Hawksmoor, and I'm friends with Mike. Small world, or whatever.

Caleb- my favourite is "how to beat up Daily Bugle reporter Peter Parker."

Mark- I can't believe a famous blogger is commenting on my blog!

I think you're probably a more reputable illustrator than I am a blogger. At the New York Comic Con, I was going to stop by the signing thing you and Mike had but I think I went to a panel to feel like I was doing my job and earning my press pass.

Are you going to MoCCA? I'm trying to finish more for it right now, but it is not going well.

No MoCCA unfortunately; I can only justify one comics-centric trip to NY per year (and then just barely). Do you go to San Diego? That's where all the movie stuff is anyway... you would feel like you were working all the time!

I haven't gone to San Diego yet. Have you? It seems intense. I sort of like how NYCC has little enough going on that I can pretend to do a job but also have time to wander, buy useless things, observe appalling freaks, etc. And that it's close.

Yeah, I go to San Diego every year... besides all the usual useless things and appalling freaks, there are beaches! We don't really have those in the North. Anyway, you should make the 3 hour flight sometime.

That's like a six-hour flight, but yeah.
